The structure of any organization tends to mirror the thought process and mental organization of the founders.
There are many examples of disorganized failures and well run corporations that operate like well oiled machines.
Whatever the case is and whatever the skills that are lacking, they can be augmented by specific roles and talents. One thing to keep in mind as well is that the talent that is required to start a company is often very different than the talent is required to maintain it.
What we are currently focused on is building the legal and operational structures for our organization that best serves American drivers, families and workers while we are in development.
You don’t have to have all the answers at the outset but there are several basic things that should be in place structurally and several roles that should be filled.
- Legal Structure (Corporation, Guild, LLC, Sole Proprietorship)
- Legal Agreements & Contracts (TOS, Liability, Employee/Contractors)
- Financial Accounts (Banks, Crypto, Payment Processors, etc.)
- The Visionary
- The Operator
- The Technologist
- The Treasurer
- The Charismatic
In the next five days I’ll be going through each roll in depth and on the sixth day I will discuss how they work in concert.
